Big Meadows, located at Skyline Drive milepost 51, looks exactly as its name suggested. It is big,
flat and grassy. It is hard to imagine that there exists a grassy land as big as 1000 acres in the middle
of mountain and forest.

Black Rock
Black Rock trail is just a short walk to the top of the hill. The trail head is located beside the
Big Meadows Lodge and the length is just 0.2 mile. It takes only about 5 to 10 minutes to compleye the trip.
Before you realize that you are hiking, you have already arrived the destination.
